Fabio Burroni, Plant Development, Personal Training

Graduated in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Florence, Burroni specializes in agri-food marketing and has been an agronomist since 1993.

His professional activity focuses on corporate and clonal genetic selection processes. He is an agronomic consultant in organic and integrated wineries and nurseries, where he tackles issues related to environmental sustainability without prejudice for a continuous enhancement of the “environment-vineyard” system. During his profession he applies the concepts related to the principles of agro-ecology for a modern, efficient viticulture capable of fully identifying with the grapes produced. It studies and introduces new production and plant defense methods, as well as technical means capable of enhancing the peculiarities of the vineyard for true identity wines. He is a phytoiatric consultant according to the new European regulations.

Alessandro Pieri, Business Planning and Regulations

In addition to the field activity, the wine company is a business reality with its regulatory and technical management.

At Henea’s, Alessandro Pieri is the reference figure for the resolution of problems inherent in the management of companies, both for the procedural and technical part, in all aspects of a practical and bureaucratic nature that wineries have to endure.

Graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, with a thesis on “Evaluation of production costs in Tuscan wine farms”, he has always dealt with the management problems of farms, in particular wineries. Enrolled in the Order of Agronomists and Forestry Doctors, he deepened the study of the management of wineries following courses and seminars on analytical accounting and on the study of the main business planning models. In his professional activity he supports the company by linking the agronomic and design part with the regulatory aspects to support the company’s production strategies.

Michele Lotti Margotti, European Contributions, Regulatory Management and Institutional Relations

Doing business is relations with the territory, with the development possibilities linked to European contributions and competence on management regulations.

In Henea, Michele Lotti Margotti is the contact person for company management, agricultural environmental improvement plans (PAPMAA), practices for community and national funding, management control, analysis and optimization of production factors and production processes.

His professional training stems from decades of experience on the channels of community contributions in the wine, olive oil, arable land and livestock sectors; then on the management of wineries in terms of accounting, relations with public bodies, community contributions, food safety and wine legislation.

Specialized in the evaluation of new market addresses linked to sustainability, organic, biodynamic and integrated production, Michele Lotti Margotti has gained experience in the last 10 years in the implementation of IFS and BRC quality systems and standards, relating to the wine and olive oil sector on behalf of farms, wineries, cooperatives and oil mills.
